How to remove urine and other odors from cement and other hardwood floors.

How to remove urine odors from cement,  hardwood floors and grout.

Products: Urine Contamination Treatment (UTC), Kill Odor Plus

Determine the location of the urine odor. Use a black light or an ultra violet lamp to find the spot; it will glow.

Saturate the spot with Urine Contamination Treatment. For severe odors do not dilute; for moderate odors dilute with 2 parts (warm) water.

Let product work. Let sit for 5- 10 minutes. Remove excess. Rinse with hot water.

While the odor may have originated from a specific area, the odor most likely has spread (offgased) into the surrounding areas and seeped into surrounding porous surfaces. (This is particularly true on carpets.) For this reason, it is recommended that in addition to treatment by UTC, a general deodorizer, such as Kill Odor Plus be used.  Spray room/ floor with Kill Odor Plus.

For areas with persistent odor, reapply Urine Contamination Treatment.
